Camping Trip

Posted by on April 30, 2007

My feet are nice and blistered, and my legs are sore -but I had a great time this weekend on the Appalachian Trail with my Dad, Jesse, Josh and Liz.
Here are some of my favorite pictures..

Liz broke the gender gap this year, and is the first female in our circle of friends to go backpacking with us. She did a great job and actually out-hiked all of us.

Dad points out our route on the map before we start our hike.. 12 miles to the shelter.

Great views, though with a bit of rain after lunch at Pole Steeple.

1,069 miles North into Maine; 1,069 miles South into Georgia - a quick portrait at the halfway marker.

Getting tired as night quickly approaches and we’ve yet to reach the shelter.

Dad uses a burning stick to light his alcohol burner.. after we got it lit we enjoyed coffee and hot chocolate by the fire.

The next morning we had to deal with Josh’s resident tick.

Take me out to the ballpark…

Jasmine Lawrence, CEO

Posted by on April 24, 2007

Two weeks ago I shot a series of portraits of Jasmine Lawrence the CEO of Eden Bodyworks for the Financial Times of London. She’s unique because currently she is not only learning how to drive; she is also preparing to start distributing her company’s products internationally through Wal-Mart. At only 16-years-old Jasmine is an inspiration to me as I start out on my own in the business world.
